Adam Walsh Act

In 2008, the federal Adam Welsh Act was signed into law in Ohio, organizing sex offenders into three different tiers. Tier 1 sex offenders must register every year for fifteen years with the county sheriff. Tier 2 offenders are required to register every 180 days for 25 years, and Tier 3 offenders must register every 90 days for life. All of these registration processes require that a convicted sex offender register any changes in their work or home address. As you can see, there are serious consequences connected with being convicted of a sex crime in Ohio. You need to take your case seriously and find an attorney who will fight for you. Hire a lawyer with compassion, dedication and experience for your Ohio sex crimes case.
